Hey everyone, let me share something with you. I was driving with a friend and we were going to get some natural products that we use, without chemicals. And it came up, which is true a lot of products out there are not sustainable, many are very expensive and that was one of the reasons I started making my own. Yes, it takes a lot of time and money to make it and in this day in age time can be a tricky thing. There are so many recipes out there to make your own, but is it really happening?
They are great products out that are not that expensive, or you can get them in clearance and of course there is a way to make it work. At some point I got tired to pop a pill for every time I got a headache or allergy. Even more, to the side effects I got after taking or applying something in my skin and little by little I started making a change. I’m not completely free of what I’ve been used to use for a long time, but I’m seeing the changes.
As I learn more about it and raise the bar of what goes in my body, the more I embrace making active changes in my life that make me feels better.
Now I’m stricter with what will be in my body. From the food I eat, soaps, deodorant, lotions, toothpaste and clean supplies. Now we are using reusable sandwiches bag, bringing my own groceries bags when I go shopping.
Sometimes think: it is so late to start? Since many have been doing for decades. You know. We all start somewhere. Probably the first best moment was in the past. However, I’m sure, the second-best moment is NOW.
As a soap, I started using Castile soap, which it’s made from vegetable oil, in stead of animal fats and synthetics and it’s safe for most sensitive skin. Dr. Bronner’s Castile liquid soap is one of my favorite.
I just started using Native’s deodorant, it’s aluminum and paraban free, nontoxic ingredients and it seen effective. Of course I’m making my own deodorant!
I make my own lotion from Shea butter, adding essential oils. Definitely has been a game changer, Shea Butter it’s a great moisturizer, it can be use for the skin and hair, it help with stretch marks and restore elasticity to the skin, and it’s great for wrinkles, whoop whoop!
My product can help you as well. So you can purchase it in our page. Click the picture of my product or follow this link.
For cleaning I use Mrs. Meyers 98% of its ingredients are natural derive, unlike other products out there. Also white vinegar it’s great for cleaning and dr. Bronners, still making changes for sure.
We got Funbiz reusable bags, they are great. And it was a great deal in Amazon.
